I am looking for information on My Great Grandfather,
Timothy Patrick Kelly who migrated to the United States in May
1850 aboard the Brig Sara from departing from Queenstown, He
arrived in Boston. I do not know where he went from there
but eventually he settled in Clarksville TN USA. His first wife
Mary must have died and then he married Anne
Nestor-O'Neil-Kelly. She must have also been previously married
as her name form home was Nestor. They had 3 or 4 children.
Patrick, Michael, Dan & Mary. Dan is my great grandfather. I
know the history of Dan and Mary but not the other 2 boys. I
have copies of the baptismal records of Mary, Dan & Patrick but
nothing on Michael. I would love to be in contact with any
members of this family if I could. I hope to return to Ireland
one day and visit the areas where they came from. I also have a
little Information on my Paternal Grandmother, Ella Kelly, who
married Dan Kelly. Her father John Kelly was from Virginia, USA.
. But I do not know much else yet.

Gerald Abrams is the Historian and Treasurer of the Kelly Clan
group in Oregon. He is directly related to the Kellys who
migrated to Oregon in 1840’s from Kentucky. They were 4 brothers
(of 12 children) Clinton, Gilmer, Albert and Thomas who came to
Oregon from Kentucky and were the sons of Samuel Kelly
(Virginia) who was the son of Thomas Kelly (Pennsylvania), who
was the son of Patrick Kelly (Northern Ireland). Gerry has
numerous geneology books with photos and stories on this branch
of the Kelly Clan. If you are interested in obtaining any of
these books...

I am looking for information on Thomas William Kelly. He was
born around December (I think) in 1917 in Bronx, New York.
Sometime in the 1940's he married a woman named Dorothy Jean
Nichols.
They had a son named Kenneth Alan Kelly who was born in 1947. He
was also born in the Bronx.
When Kenneth Kelly was approximately 6 months old, the family
moved to the state of New Jersey. Dorothy and Kenneth didn't
leave New Jersey after that.
Thomas Kelly was in the Army/Air Force during World War II.
After it became 2 separate branches, Thomas Kelly was in the Air
Force.
He was either killed in the early to mid 1950's or was divorced
from his wife.
He was stationed at a military base in either Maryland/Virginia
in the early to mid 1950's.
Any information would be highly appreciative.

Hi everyone
I am trying to find information about my ancestor Martin Kelly.
On his daughter (born circa 1864/5) Ellen's marriage
certificate to James Hyde in Australia, he is listed as being
from Tipperary. However her mother was Alice (nee Latchford)
born in 1846 in Rathkeale, Limerick.
I have not been able to find a marriage certificate for Martin
Kelly and Alice Latchford and have no idea where to look. I have
found three Martin Kelly's in Tipperary on the Griffiths
Valuation of 1854, and three who emigrated to the US.
Does anybody know anything about a Martin Kelly from Tipperary?

I am trying to get information on my father's family Kelly.
My father's family - Kelly - has a genealogy prepared back in
the 1970s that only goes back to 1771.
- Patrick Hendrix Kelly of Ireland; born in
the early years on 1700, whose birth date we have not
obtained;
- John Kelly (his son), who migrated to
America in 1771; taught school in North Carolina, later
married Anna Hunter of Scotland. They had 3 children: John,
Andrew, and Joseph, whose birth dates we have not obtained;
- John Kelly, Jr., born in the United
States (date not given);
- Matthias Kelly, his son, who reared 12
children;
- John Jackson Kelly I, born October 6,
1821, our grandfather...
The genealogy goes from there to the present
with no real lapses. (The person who prepared that genealogy has
since passed away and we can find no information on sourcing.)
Can you point me in the right direction to research Kellys in
the 1700s in Ireland? I would very much appreciate any advice
you may have.

I am trying to find information on KINCHEN KILLEY/KELLY who was
born 1718 and died 1750 in Rook Kelly, Devonshire, Wales. His
sons were JOHN HENRY KILLEY/KELLY, born 1749, and KINCHEN KILLEY/KELLY,
born 1750. JOHN HENRY'S son KINCHEN W KILLEY/KELLY was born 1765
in Rook Kelly, Devonshire, Wales but died 9 APR 1835 in Carter
Co., TN. Kinchen must have immigrated to America before 1784
because that is when he married Elisabeth Hammer and they had 11
children.
Is there anyone who has any information about this line?
