I am looking for information on Thomas William Kelly. He was born around December (I think) in 1917 in Bronx, New York.

Sometime in the 1940's he married a woman named Dorothy Jean Nichols.

They had a son named Kenneth Alan Kelly who was born in 1947. He was also born in the Bronx.

When Kenneth Kelly was approximately 6 months old, the family moved to the state of New Jersey. Dorothy and Kenneth didn't leave New Jersey after that.

Thomas Kelly was in the Army/Air Force during World War II. After it became 2 separate branches, Thomas Kelly was in the Air Force.

He was either killed in the early to mid 1950's or was divorced from his wife.

He was stationed at a military base in either Maryland/Virginia in the early to mid 1950's.

Any information would be highly appreciative.

Hi everyone

I am trying to find information about my ancestor Martin Kelly. On his daughter (born circa 18644/5) Ellen's marriage certificate to James Hyde in Australia, he is listed as being from Tipperary. However her mother was Alice (nee Latchford) born in 1846 in Rathkeale, Limerick.

I have not been able to find a marriage certificate for Martin Kelly and Alice Latchford and have no idea where to look. I have found three Martin Kelly's in Tipperary on the Griffiths Valuation of 1854, and three who emigrated to the US.

Does anybody know anything about a Martin Kelly from Tipperary?

I am trying to get information on my father's family Kelly.

My father's family - Kelly - has a genealogy prepared back in the 1970s that only goes back to 1771.
  • Patrick Hendrix Kelly of Ireland; born in the early years on 1700, whose birth date we have not obtained;
  • John Kelly (his son), who migrated to America in 1771; taught school in North Carolina, later married Anna Hunter of Scotland. They had 3 children: John, Andrew, and Joseph, whose birth dates we have not obtained;
  • John Kelly, Jr., born in the United States (date not given);
  • Matthias Kelly, his son, who reared 12 children;
  • John Jackson Kelly I, born October 6, 1821, our grandfather...

The genealogy goes from there to the present with no real lapses. (The person who prepared that genealogy has since passed away and we can find no information on sourcing.)

Can you point me in the right direction to research Kellys in the 1700s in Ireland? I would very much appreciate any advice you may have.

I am trying to find information on KINCHEN KILLEY/KELLY who was born 1718 and died 1750 in Rook Kelly, Devonshire, Wales. His sons were JOHN HENRY KILLEY/KELLY, born 1749, and KINCHEN KILLEY/KELLY, born 1750. JOHN HENRY'S son KINCHEN W KILLEY/KELLY was born 1765 in Rook Kelly, Devonshire, Wales but died 9 APR 1835 in Carter Co., TN. Kinchen must have immigrated to America before 1784 because that is when he married Elisabeth Hammer and they had 11 children.

Is there anyone who has any information about this line?

I seek information on Mary Kelly/Kelley (1845-1917) who left Tipperary and settled in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania (according to her obituary). Mary was the daughter of James Kelly/Kelley (no information known yet on James).

Any information appreciated.
